radical thoughts on protection
you can’t be protected from something you refuse to acknowledge is even here.
spirit comes to me again to speak on the idea of “needing protection.” no crystals, circles of salt, brick dust, incantations, or practitioner will protect you completely.
do you even know what it is you need protection from? or is just anything “negative, evil, and bad”...did you know that energy is neutral until you decide how you want to polarize it? truth be told, if you are actually brave enough to know specifically what to be protected from...your battle is half over. because you’ve stopped turning a blind eye.
i watch so many people run blind, oblivious, and naively through their lives with a “if i can’t see it, it can’t hurt me” mentality. how very love and light of you. that doesn’t work. the ghosts still are there even when your back is turned, blanket up over your head. open your eyes. “but i’m keeping harm out of my way, i’m preventing these bad things from happening to me.” but are you? or are you focusing so hard on that thing not coming near you, that you’ve kept it on your mind, drawing it straight to you? have you created and called in the exact thing you wanted protection from? actually, sometimes, and unfortunately—yes.
would you go out in the middle of the night, in -40 degree weather with no clothes on, no shoes, no flashlight? odds are you’d look outside, check the clock, open the door for a second to assess the temperature, then dress accordingly.
yes protection can be preventative. but fuck... look around! it’s also about not letting yourself sit as a victim. so much could be prevented by you opening the eyes and ears to the world around you. you do NOT get to turn a blind eye then wonder, “oh! why does this always happen to me?” THAT question should be your clue that you need to wake up.
there’s no sympathy for that behavior in my reality. if i did that shit—i’d be exactly where you are and i’d be struggling too. you’re not letting yourself get ahead. knowledge is your best weapon in the protection game. it’s your key to freedom. and IT’S HARD WORK.
