my role in your work
what i can do for you will never compare to what you can do for yourself. you are always going to be stronger, more powerful, more intimately knowing of what you need than i will. you can tell me your story, but i won’t know it.
you can show me where you’ve been, but i’ve never been there. i’m not you. no one can be you. and anyone that seeks to help you only knows the you they know. and only you know your true self.
but then why have healers and readers? we insight chaos on your behalf. we disturb the chaos to show you peace. we bring a container larger in capacity than yours to offer you relief. validation. opportunity. sanity. can we do something FOR you? i mean, sure. of course, first, with your express permission. maybe you need us to show you how to do something so you can know how to start next time—i’m here for that. maybe you just have been working hard and need a break...someone to take care of you. i’m here for that too.
what i’m not here for is you living by my word while ignoring your own.
the work i’m doing for you is offering you a map in (maybe) in a completely different language. it’s not up to me what you do with it. you’ve simply asked me what i’ve seen. i can only tell you in my own language. a reader can only read that part of themselves that lives in their client. you cannot hang on my word and think you’re doing your work. you don’t know what you’re doing or where to go—so i’ll frame the house baby. now, what will you insulate with?
expecting my work to be the end all of your problems is the beginning of a much larger problem. and how you want to avoid or make excuses for your life when things STILL don’t work out. no thank you. i’m not the reason you haven’t gotten where you wanted. i have my own shit to work on, thanks.
my reading didn’t get you there because you never got in the car my sweet friend. who’s in control?
why did you try to give me so much power?
what are you avoiding?
what lies do you believe?
that’s all on you love.
